Twiddling Thumbs

We had an invigorating swim at Doctors Point yesterday, dog included.

It seems it may be the end of February before I have my visa in hand and am able to leave the country
. Not that I'm too concerned, as temperatures in Paris are glacial right now, and the glorious summer here in Dunedin will be hard to leave...once it finally arrives.
Tomorrow will be my last day of work, leaving me with several commitment-free weeks to be filled at my leisure. I have a stack of novels to start working my way through, several paintings to complete, and need to get as much salt water in my system as poss. Living inland is going to be a killer.
Between bouts of baking and surfing I might just become a manic blogger too. Wait and see...
