I am just back from a lovely holiday in Palermo, Sicily. I am going to blog about it shortly but first I'm making some leek and potato soup to fortify myself for the epic re-telling.
I've just been out for a wander along the river, the autumn colours are stunning, and with the light breeze the sky is filled with a golden confetti of leaves.
I had slipped my camera into my pocket so that I could get some shots of the colours and was glad to have it on hand when this guy slipped out of the Seine:
It's a beaver! He was so cute, and very bold considering there were about 6 people and a dog stopped to watch him.
